My philosophy as an acupuncturist is to respect all patients and their individual approach to their own health care. At the same time, I hope to be able to foster a patient's sense of responsibility for his or her own well-being. I practice both Chinese and Japanese styles of diagnosis and needling as well as incorporating Cranial Sacral Therapy, Acutonics or tuning fork therapy, Reiki and Foot Reflexology to create a unique experience tailored to the individuality of each of my patients.
My goal in treatment is to approach people with respect in order to hear how I can help them achieve their stillpoint, their point of calm and balance. My patients are encouraged to take charge of his/her health as the acupuncturist's job is to merely facilitate the process of healing. My practice is characterized by simplicity, a gentle touch, attention to detail and promoting a positive healing environment.
I graduated with a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in December 2009, and am a NCCAOM board certified and Montana licensed acupuncturist. I am a member of Montana's Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Association as well as a member of the Community Acupuncture Network and have trained at Working Class Acupuncture in Portland, OR, learning the art of community acupuncture.
